When it comes to floor marking in warehouses and factories, durability and visibility are key. But with so many products available, how do you know which floor marking tape can actually stand up to the demands of your environment?

At Clarity Safety, we’ve worked with leading manufacturers across the UK to design and install long-lasting warehouse safety solutions. We’re also the proud European distributor of Mighty Line floor marking tape, a brand known for its heavy-duty performance and standout features.

What Is Mighty Line Floor Tape?

Mighty Line is a tough, industrial-grade PVC floor tape manufactured in the USA. Supplied in 30-metre rolls and various widths (25mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm), it’s available in all standard 5S colours plus hazard-striped formats like yellow/black or red/white.

It’s also the only floor marking tape globally to come with a 3-year warranty,* making it a standout option for long-term reliability.

Beyond standard tape, Mighty Line also offers:

  • Reflective tape – for poor lighting or emergency lighting conditions

  • Glow-in-the-dark tape – ideal during power outages

  • Freezer-grade tape – tested to work in temperatures as low as -25°C

  • Clear protective tape – used to cover and protect existing floor markings

  • Anti-slip tape – with a textured surface for improved grip

  • Custom floor signs – for branded or application-specific messaging

Key Advantages of Mighty Line Tape

Mighty Line Tape Floor Trial

1. Exceptionally Thick & Durable

Mighty Line is up to 7 times thicker than conventional vinyl tape, providing much greater resistance to wear from forklift traffic, pallet movement, and general operations.

2. Bevelled Edges for Safety

The tape's smooth, bevelled edge ensures forklifts and pallets can ride over it without snagging, reducing trip hazards and damage.

3. Strong Adhesion, Easy Removal

A reinforced rubber adhesive creates a strong bond with concrete floors while still being cleanly removable when needed. No glue residue, no scraping, no wasted time.

4. Antistatic & Safe for ATEX Zones

Mighty Line tape is certified antistatic, making it suitable for electronics environments and areas with flammable substances or sensitive equipment.

5. Easy to Clean & Maintain

The smooth surface resists grime and can be wiped down easily, which is essential for food, beverage, or pharma production areas. The anti-slip version uses a unique emboss rather than sandpaper texture, retaining hygiene and safety.

6. Long-Lasting Hazard Markings

Traditional striped tapes fade quickly. Mighty Line's hazard tapes are coated with a clear protective layer to prevent print wear — ensuring lasting visibility in high-risk areas.

Limitations to Be Aware Of

  • Higher upfront cost: Mighty Line is an investment — but one that often pays off in reduced downtime, cleaning, and replacement cycles.

  • Not suited for all environments: Standard tape performs best between 5°C and 25°C. For cold rooms or wet areas, use the freezer-rated variant.

Where Is Mighty Line Used?

Mighty Line is ideal for:

  • Defining pedestrian walkways in factories or warehouses

  • Marking forklift paths and exclusion zones

  • Highlighting charging stations and equipment zones

  • Delineating safe storage and WIP areas

  • Supporting 5S methodology
