The MPM Safeway Gate is an intelligent, sensor-activated pedestrian safety gate, designed to integrate seamlessly with MPM’s PED 150, Link 150, and Pin 150 flexible barrier systems.
Available in widths from 400mm to 1 metre, the gate can be configured to open either inward or outward (but not both). It features:

How Does the Safeway Gate Work?
The gate uses a microwave sensor to detect approaching forklift trucks. When an FLT is sensed:

After a short delay, the gate locks automatically

Once the FLT has passed, the beacon returns to green and the gate unlocks

Pedestrians can then safely cross
