What Should I Expect from a Discovery Call with Clarity?

If you’ve booked a discovery call with Clarity (or you’re thinking about it), you’re probably wondering what to expect.
This article gives you a clear overview so you can come prepared, feel confident, and get the most out of your time with us.
We don’t do pressure or sales pitches in our Discovery Calls - our aim it to provide honest advice and practical steps to help you solve your safety challenges.
Why book a discovery call?
You might be dealing with outdated barriers, a near miss in a pedestrian area, or planning a bigger upgrade to improve site safety.
Whatever the reason, a discovery call is the starting point. It allows us to:
-
Understand your specific issue or opportunity
-
Clarify your space, safety and operational requirements
-
Explore the best-fit solutions for your environment
If we’re a good fit, we’ll guide you through what comes next. If we’re not, we’ll point you to someone who is.
What do you need before the call?
Before you get in touch, it helps to have some internal buy-in.
We often work with Health & Safety, Operations, and Continuous Improvement teams who are motivated to make a change. But if other departments aren’t aligned, it can cause unnecessary delays.
You don’t need every stakeholder signed off, but if the business isn’t ready to explore change, we recommend waiting until it is.
What will we cover on the call?
Every site is different, but our discovery calls follow a structured format. We’ll ask a few key questions to understand the real problem you’re facing, not just the symptom.
Some common ones include:
-
What’s currently in place, and what’s not working?
-
Is the issue causing safety risks, damage or downtime?
-
Who else is involved in decisions about layout or safety?
-
When was the last time you switched suppliers or systems?
-
Are there any hard deadlines or operational pressures?
If you’d like to prepare in advance, just ask us for our Discovery Checklist.
What will you walk away with?
By the end of the call, you’ll get one of four outcomes:
-
We can help, but need more information
We’ll arrange a site survey or request drawings and photos -
We can help, and you’d like to see the product
We’ll send you a sample or book a live demonstration -
We can help, and we already have everything we need
We’ll send you a tailored quote within 2 working days (for standard products), 3–4 days (for consultancy), or up to 2 weeks for full factory fit-out projects -
We’re not the right fit
We’ll still make sure to point you to a trusted supplier who can help
What happens next?
Once we’ve agreed the direction, we’ll continue supporting you with:
-
Proposals or visuals to help build internal buy-in
-
Layout drawings, CGI visuals or site photos
-
Advice on standards, costs and rollout timing
We can even help you prepare for internal presentations or join a stakeholder meeting if that’s helpful. Our goal is to make your job easier.
